Imperial Porter with Coffee & Vanilla.
Our Victory at Sea Imperial Porter is a bold, smooth brew with just the right amount of sweetness. We infused this robust porter with whole vanilla beans and San Diego’s own Café Calabria coffee beans. The subtle roasted notes and minimal acidity of the cold brewed coffee, balances perfectly with the sweet caramel undertones of the malt, creating a winning combination for your palate.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma and flavour are intense with heavily roasted, bitter coffee and cocoa. Really dry. The background vanilla sweetness balances it out well.

Backlog because I was angry at Ratebeer when I had it and didn't want to rate it. Bottle @ home. Black colour with a small light brown head. Smells sweet, vanilla, marshmellow, roasty. Tastes roasty, vanilla, marshmellow, sweet, chocolate, mocca. Super smooth beer. Love it.

Black beer with small head, which vanishes quite quickly but which lefts small and stable head on the edge of the glass. Delicious aroma has malts, roast, cream, coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Taste has roast, full malts, coffee, chocolate. Full body, ending is dry and bitter with coffee. Wonderful beer.

12 ounce bottle. Opaque black color. Small creamy tan head. Notes of coffee and vanilla in nose. Roasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of dark coffee, burnt sugar, resiny hops and lots of alcohol. Strong coffee notes in middle. Bitter resiny hops in finish. This is a big brew that sneaks up on you.
