It looks the part, dark brown and moderate carbonation. Tall, lacing white head. This beer is not as sweet as many dubbels, and the herbal quality is there, although light. It gets sweeter as it warms, and becomes more dubbel-like as the temperature increases, with a rich and sweet malt finish as well as Belgian yeast. Sure, I know its a Palm product, but it is a good beer.

Nice dark brown colored beer. Don’t really like the smell, it’s not off-putting but not really appealing either. Bit low body but a decent taste.

0.33l bottle pours a deep brown body with a dense one-finger size beige head. Aroma is quite malty with brown sugar, sour red currants, some hops and hints of bitter chocolate. Body is medium, texture somewhat oily and carbonation is mild. Flavors are fruity with notes of chocolate and strawberries that ends in a bitter and watery finish. More chocolate, some cookies and burned caramel in the aftertaste.

draft@bowling: too light, watery & thin, some malt, dark fruits and a hint of spices & herbal at the end, too thinly stretched, almost watered down, boring
