12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/2/2015. Pours lightly hazy bright orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, toasted biscuit, wheat, light caramel, and floral/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of fruit, citrus hops, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, toasted biscuit, wheat, light caramel, and floral/toasted earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, toasted biscuit, wheat, light caramel, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and balance of fruit, citrus hops, and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a damn nice fruited pale ale style. All around great robustness and balance of fruit, citrus hops, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
