Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours pitch black with quickly disappearing brown head. Aroma of coffee, liquorice, leather and very light peat. Quite smooth taste with vanilla, coffee, toffee, liquorice and a roasted bitter finish. Nicely balanced.

Riktigt gott.

Bottle from a certain bottleshop in Gijon as far as I can remember. I do not remember its name. Very rich beer. Aroma toffee, hint of peanut butter. Taste very well balanced with rich maltiness, caramel, chocolate, also bold roastiness and lots of very clean coffee. Soft milky mouthfeel. Excellent. Alcohol subdued.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black, minima head. Rich coffee aroma. Mid sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee, licorice and blacberries with some oily caramel behind. Some coffeeish bitterness. Showcases great coffee, but I wouldn’t mind having a great beer and the coffee on the side.

33cl bottle from kihoskh. pitch dark, smooth brown head. aroma is smooth, well blended with notes of very dark chocolate leading over to notes of mild coffee, also roasted malts.. Roasted malts and roasted coffee blends into a really nice coffeeish dry roasted aroma. Flavor is roasted malts, hints of dark chocolate, supernice coffee flavors, and all very well balanced. Also some cherry chewing gum sugar like notes that distract a bit, but you might not notice at first. If it wasn’t for the fruit candy rubbery faint note, this would have been an overly awesome imp coffee stout. It is still very good though.

Tap at Hopfenreich. Black with short lasting beige head that leaves a nice ring of little bubbles. Sweet coffee, dried plums and blackberries, licorice, a touch of ash, roasted nuts and grains, molasses, honey. Quite sweet with soft coffee bitterness. Full bodied with quite some velvety carbonation. Decent.
