Sampled from bottle at "This is not really deanso’s last THT"-tasting. Black with tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate and caramel malts. Rye, molasses, smoke, bacon and peppers. Big sweet and quite a spicy punch. Light bitter. Milky chocolatey soft over medium body, slick and sticky. // again from a bottle thats been on the shelf for over a year, notes of dense raisiny sherry, deep roasted, still strong peppers. Lovely oily texture. Upping my rating a few points. --- Beer merged from original tick of Smoke On the Porter - Fire in the Rye on 08 Jan 2018 at 17:11 - Score: 8

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Chipotle is the aroma. Med body. Flavor is the range of chipotle - smoky on thru spicy - with some nice dark malt that seems to have some chocolate. Rye is somewhat concealed by the chili. There’s a really warming feeling generated. A slow sipper.

37,5 cl bottle @ ISKTR ’16
Aroma has nice licorice tones and hayish grain. Also some mild soy sauce. Flavour has alcohol, burning chili, soy sauce and licorice. Nice, I like the burning chili here – and this has enough body to balance.
