Aroma of light malt, smoke, some peaty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. A bit on the thin side, definitely some room for improvement. Fairly nice smoked beer.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark amber coloured brew with an intense smokey start and it will slow very faint away. The beer is nicely bitter with some fruity hints. Groningen meets Bamberg, great beer indeed.

Bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Brown color. Soft acidic yeasty aroma with charcoal. Malty flavor with peach, fat sausage and beechwood. Very soft acidic notes. Charcoal finish. I expected a bit better.

Sampled from bottle at home, courtesy of Maakun. Murky brown amber with white head. Peat, tobacco, bandaids, distant light white grapes, mineralwater and brown sugar. Medium sweet and bitter. Under medium body and soft carbonation. Bit dirty but still drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kromme Jat Golden Raand Pagode on 09 Jan 2018 at 11:02 - Score: 6

Bottle shared thanks to Sinterklaas ShivanDragon. Slight gusher. Hazy copper with big beige head. Smoke, light bacon, red berries, some band aids, light glue, caramel, grapes, some herbs. Light sweet and bitter with a bit sour touch. Just medium bodied with weird dry finish. Not my thing.

Bottle @ benzai. Dark amber, small off-white head. Smells sour, smokey, slightly peat, malts. Tastes sourish, whisky, watery, not what i like. Thin body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Unclear dark orange to reddish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, wood, lightly sourish, lightly smoke. Hmm ok beer but not my thing.

33 cl bottle bought in Groningen some 2 months ago. Hazy amber color. Off white head, quickly receding. Aroma’s: sweetbread, light hints of alcohol, whisky-ish/peaty, and some sour notes. Much more sourness retronasal. Flavor is full on sour. Meh. Medium bodied etc. Drain pour.

Bottle at worldbeertaste’s temporary leaving The Hague tasting. Gushed a hazy dark amber with a off white head. The aroma is light band aid, yeast, malt and some smoke. The flavour is light bitter, a little veggie with a medicinal yeast light smoke palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
