Beer for and available at Paradiso
In het kader van het 50-jarig bestaan van Paradiso is in samenwerking met de Amsterdamse brouwerij Poesiat & Kater het jubileumbier ‘Gloria’ ontwikkeld. Vanaf nu is deze voor de rest van het kalenderjaar exclusief verkrijgbaar bij de locaties van Paradiso en geselecteerde horeca- en retaillocaties.
Over het bier
Ter ere van het 50-jarig bestaan van Paradiso wordt dit jaar het biertje ‘Gloria’ gebrouwen door de Amsterdamse brouwerij Poesiat & Kater, welke wordt gebotteld in een speciaal vormgegeven aluminium longneck. Gloria is een Golden Pale Ale (5,0% vol) met een frisse en volle smaak, een moutig karakter en een fruitige afdronk. De naam verwijst naar de geschiedenis van Paradiso en naar de feestelijkheden die in het kader van dit jubileum plaatsvinden. Vanaf februari is Gloria verkrijgbaar bij alle Paradisolocaties en in verschillende andere geselecteerde horeca- en retaillocaties.

Aluminium bottleshape 0,33ltr: Hazy blond colored brew with an mellow sweet bitter taste, with hints of caramel and some fruitiness. A lot of Heineken on the can shape bottle.

Metal bottle @ home. Dark golden colour with a small white head. Smells urinal cake, butter. Tastes malts, cardboard. Thin to medium body, low carbo.

7 3 7 3 14Bottle at Little Delirium, Amsterdam. Hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, wort like notes, vanilla, yeast and fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Aluminium bottle (Heineken sponsorship) at Paradiso. Charlotte Gainsbourg tonight. Straight from the bottle. Sweet malts, strong bitter and leathery notes. Something fruity or floral, yes, strawberries and rosepetals, potpourri, and light caramel, and then that raw potato peel bitter finish. Moderate sweet, strong bitter. Bottle @ De Bierkoning. Hazy deep golden color. White head. Aroma's: light vegetal, roasty. Retronasal it's fruity, light caramel. Flavor is moderate bitter, a bit fruity. Light bodied. Finishes with some grain, moderate bitter. Pleasant.
