8/III/16 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: XII/2017 (2016-259) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!
Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy irregular beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: banana, some alcohol, sweet, caramel, malty, vanilla, dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit metallic start, bitter, grassy, bit yeasty, green banana. Aftertaste: alcohol, some dried fruits, bit oxidized, sweet, metallic, soft bitterness. The barrel ageing sure does some great things to this beer, because I'm not impressed with this basic version, and I really liked the red wine B.A.
