Nice dark appearance with brown head, some notes of dark chocolate, roasty and salty. The taste follows, its pretty thick and intense, like a dark chocolate with some sea salt. Not quiet sure if I like the imperial stout to be salty but this is the result of oystering... still a complex and good tasting beer.

Bastante buena y original. Para repetir. Una gran oyster.

RBESG in Barcelona. Shared bottle at La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia. Can hardly read my notes here, which may be largely explained by the beer’s 11% ABV (on top of a few other beers). Black colour. Dryish aroma with notes of smoke and roast malts. The flavour is not quite as dry as the aroma made me fear, still with a roasty character and some wood smoke.

Shared bottle at La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia with the 2016 RBESG guys. Dark brew with a lumpy beige head. Liquorice lead to both the nose and taste with a slight smokiness from the over roasted malts also showing. Decent if a little ’over the top’ alcohol level wise.

A black beer, a head is medium, dense and light brown. Aroma has salt liquirice and liquirice, some dark fruitness, hint of alcohol. Taste is intensive, salt liquirice, some salt and fruitness, balanced sweetness and bitterness. Almost full bodied, not stickyness. Very tastefull, salty and salt liquirice IS.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Very dark brown with a shade of indigo. Almost no head but there is a wisp of a mid-brown ring of head around the glass. Salted caramel aroma with prune, woodsmoke, port and strong booze in the aroma. Sweet, fruity, woody, smoky and slightly salty aroma. Slightly sour tannic finish, with more prunes, saltwater and red wine on the aftertaste. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Amazing beer.
