This wonderful wild yeast strain is a slow burner, it likes to hang around and eat everything it can. If it is left to its own devices is will eventually begin to eat the cellulose in the wood of the barrels… What this translates into is a super crisp and fresh double IPA, extremely well-attenuated, allowing all the hop character to come to the fore.

Bottle split at Bodney, group purchase, 12/04/18. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is sharp lemon, grains, funk, brett dollop, on the turn melon, white grape must. Taste comprises stale bread, apple core, funk, brett strokes, citric pith, toasted grains, barnyard esters, melon, lemon rind, wood must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dusted with earthy hop bitterness. Nice sipper but not as complex as I'd hoped for.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of passion fruit, melon, brett, grape skin and peach. Hazy golden color with medium frothy off-white head, floating yeast particles and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet grainy and fruity, follows by brett, citrus and herbs, mouthfeel is dry, spicy and warm, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Real wild child...

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Almost clear, pale gold colored. AROMA- peach, apricot, funky, fruity and floral hops. FLAVOR- lightly sour, not dry, lightly bitter, fruity and floral hops, some brett flavor on background. Fuller bodied.
Overhopped. Hop kills all that interesting wild flavors.

Bottle shared in Hackney - sourced from the brewery. Pours unclear gold with a frothy, white head. Nice aroma, ample peach, melon, ripen lemon. Meidum sweet flavour with low bitterness, more peach, soft tang, pale bread. Meidum to full bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, more pale bread, tangerine, lemon, peach. Good stuff. Minimal brett presence.
