Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of cane sugar, malts, caramel and raisins. Sweet malty flavour, sugar. Sweet finish, sugar, raisins, honey and alcohol. Sweet quad.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin light tan head. The aroma is yeast, roasted malt, light caramel. The flavour is strong bitter with a big boozy alcohol bitter, red-berry fruit palate and a long bitter finish with a frothy mouthfeel. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. One of the better Breugem beers imo.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Breugems Saense Kracht ].Clear light dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, dark fruit, prune, date, light to moderate alcohol, moderate yeasty, dark fruity . dried fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sugary, dark fruit, dried frut, prune, date, malt sweet, caramel, buzzy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic - buzzy. [20140403]

Dark brown. Aroma of sweet dried fruit. Flavour is a bit dry and woody with a sweet malty background. Easy to drink.

33cl Bottle from SPAR. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of brown sugar, cinnamon, alcohol, clove, fruits. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, fruits, alcohol, raisins, molasses, brown sugar, cinnamon and clove, alcohol bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A bit hot, but nice quad.

330ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, sehr fruchtig, reife Früchte, alkoholisch. Geschmack stark fruchtig, dunkle überreife Früchte, leicht röstmalzig, alkoholisch.
