Ich bin eine schwäbische Weizenbier- spezialität, kristallklar und feinfruchtig. Bei der Nachgärung im kalten Klosterbräu-Keller reichere ich mich mit viel natürlicher Gärungskohlensäure an und bekomme so meinen spritzig-frischen Charakter.

(bottle) Minimal hazy, golden colour with a huge foamy blond head. Slightly sweet and sourish wheat-malty nose with overripe citrus-fruits and shy traces of cloves. Sour-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Wheaty and moderately fruity Banana, citrus) taste; slightly tart finish with light clovy notes. Okay.

(Bottle 50 cl) Jesus, the head on some of these wheat beers is simply out of cobtrol! It keeps rising out of the bottle even after you’ve emptied half of it. Clear, pilsener golden wit a - surprise - tall, frothy head. Some wheaty esters in the nose, but not overly fruity. Less sulphurous than most Kristalls and hence more pleasant. 111102
