Stripped down version of the Hefe-weizen. Clean but uninspiring cheap supermarket beer.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local ’toom’, best before September 2017. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, cloves and vanilla. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy taste of banana, cloves and vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Cris for this bottle! Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is slightly sourish, with some fruit esters, graininess, and an olive hint. Sweetish flavor with graininess, mild fruitiness, some spiciness, wheat, a sourish hint, and a bitterish note. Quite light-bodied.
