30/07 0.5 l can. It poured clear yellow body with medium sized head. Ordinary lemon soda aroma, a bit fake admittedly, but not bad. Flavor was very sweet, completely artificial, unpleasant toward the end with that, now I would say standard heavy medicinal bitter finish. Reminds of not so distant times when there weren’t hazy radlers. But this is new. So why would somebody make such a crap, WHY x2??? Maybe to sell it to primitive people from the Balkans.

Canned 500ml. -from local Konzum supermarket. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly, sweet lemony nose. The taste is also very sweet lemony with light bready notes. Sweet candy like finish. Not so good radler but could be worse.

Whoa, Bavaria seems to have jumped on the recent radler bandwagon in ex-Yu countries by marketing this only in Bosnia (so far) where breweries have only realizes in the last month what’s going on all around them. Anyway, Downtown caffe bar, Sarajevo. Clear golden body, small head. Sweet nice lemon candy nose with a dash of washing liquid. The taste is squarely in the sweet lemon rock candy category. But it’s nicely smooth and far from overbearing even if it is essentially balanced. One of the tastier sugar waters you’ll find. The label claims Croatian, Serbian and Romanian importers too, but it hasn’t shown up in Croatia so far. Dunno how this hopes to carve its niche in the market but hey, stranger things have happened.
