*Bottle from Brolters in Bremen. Thick and grainy sweetish sharp beginning. Interesting floral fruity aroma, hints of grain, round but not my style...

0.33 l bottle from ’Dilo Getränkemarkt’, best before July 2016. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish-fruity, slightly grassy and a little resiny aroma of tropical fruits, caramel, honey, a bit of peppermint, pine and some straw. Sweetish-fruity, slightly grassy taste of tropical fruits, caramel, honey, some pine and straw, followed by a medium long, moderately grassy-bitter, a little resiny finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, but not very close to an Imperial Pils, much more a bottom-fermented IPA, it’s too sweet and not grassy enough for that.
