Bottle at home. 1 year old bottle. Pours a slightly hazy straw color and a creamy off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, citrus, hay and spices. The flavor is similar with more Belgian yeast, almonds and some alcohol. Has a soft mouth feel, full-bodied, and a light bitterness. A solid tripel with a well-balanced aroma and flavor.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with small yeast chunks and a medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma of pear, papery malts, custard and spice. Flavour of pear, lemon sherbet and a peppery finish. Medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Uncomplex.

BOTTLE 33 CL as Goliath. Golden with a small sediment, huge white head. The aroma is strong and bright - white wine with notes of honey and flowers, as well some peppery and bready notes. The taste is similar but with a different balance - leff wine and fragrance, more spice, alcoholic bitterness and warmth. Very nice.

Clear medium golden colour, large frothy white head, diminishes slowly, fair lacing. Yeasty and fruity aroma, malts, yeast, banana, apricot, orange peel, candy sugar, bit caramel, dough, grass. Flavour light to medium sweet and bitter, yeasty, fruity (orange), spicy notes, slightly alcoholic. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, mild bittersweet aftertaste, dry finish, citrusy, woody undertones, alcohol notes; a good tripel.

750ml wire cradle bottle as Goliath Tripel bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Gives a good shot followed by smoke when opened. White foamy head over a near-clear golden body. Floral aroma with spices. Taste of earthy malts, yeasty esters, and dark spices. Malt-fruity ending with noticeable alcohol. Accepted, far from great (tasting session in Tromsø together with Stefan and Elisabeth 03.06.2015).
