Bottle shared massive thanks to Kim Yung Kermis. Black with bubbly dark brown head. Massive chocolate, molasses, roast, dark sugar, port, light alcohol, more sugar, sherry, soy sauce, light oxidized notes, more chocolate, deep dank malts, soft coffee. Very sweet and light spicy bitter. Thick full sugary bodied.

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Pretty much a black one this, yeah. Not jet, but not far off either. The only thing that can remind of a head is clinged on top to the sides of the glass. It smells surprisingly mild - at first. Soft roasted tones, a little bit of dark licorice, espresso and sugary alcohol. Shocked over how mild this is, but it opens up and gains momentum as the glass gains heat. It's anything but mild in the taste. Wow! A rush of sweetness and a punchy alco warming sensation down the throat. Lots of sweet molasses and musvovado sugar, it's sweet but not directly cloying. Vanilla beans and a lingering molasses tail. What have they done with this? Dunno, but I liked this. Glad it's a small glass though. 12.05.2016
