Bottle @ Saturday night tasting - The Stein & Vine. Thanks Hunter.

2 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is decadent, with whiskey barrels, light smokiness, and roasted malt. Flavour is super decadent as well, with syrupy sweet caramel malt, whiskey barrels, and light chocolate. Really well-balanced and decadent. Excellent stuff in small quantities.

Growler at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Black topped with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is roast malt, sweet chocolate tunes, light charr, malt, subtle oak. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, liquorice, dark fruit rinds, toffee fudge. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, subtle whisky notes in the close. Decent easy drinking BA impy but not blowing me away.

Bottle - Chocolate, graham cracker, coconut and vanilla. Deep jet black brown with a decent brown head. Sweet, coconut, vanilla, bit of whisky and a long viscous finish. Really nice.

Growler during RBWG 2015. Pours oily black with a foamy tan head. The aroma has lots of hard roast, light smoke, baking cocoa, some vanilla. Medium to big sweet flavor with some dark fruits, oily chocolate, roast, scorched earth, burnt wood. Full bodied, soft, oily and chewy. Lightly warming on the finish with plenty of gooey chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, raisins, leather. Heavy duty stuff but certainly very good.

Aroma of rich dark chocolate, molasses, light smooth whiskey notes, wood, vanilla, dark fruit notes, leather and fudge. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Lovely!
