Pours hazy brown to amber with a rocky beige head. Aroma: caramel malts, toasted bread, honey and brown sugar. Taste: caramelly and bready. Sweet palate.

Tap @ Oudaen, Utrecht. Light hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, yeasty and dark bread. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 140425

Pours a clear brown body and a dense beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: caramel, drop/licorice, umami. Retronasal it's slightly sweet, caramel, some red fruit. Flavour is moderate caramellish sweet and light bitter. Light medium bodied. Finishes with caramel, roasted malts, moderate bitter.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Hazy dark brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste with an little bit of sweetness. Hints of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate and some liquorice.

--Bottled (as Oudaen Dubbel), from Bierverteiler, Utrecht. -- Clear amber, small head. A Starchy caramel aroma with some marzipan. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Starchy dough and marzipan, some spicy grass. Mid bitter finish.

33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark mild roasted chocolate malt, nuts, caramel. Taste of dark moderate sweet caramelized malt, chocolate, nuts, hints of spicy and metallic hops. Overall okay!

Bottle shared at THT April. Clear mahogany with light tan head. Sweet roasted grain, massive licorice, good roastedness, near ashy, charcoal, black olives. Moderate sweet and bitter, touchnof salt. Sampled at THT April. Reddish brown with beige head. Sweet malts, caramel, light toffee, dried plums, figs, light earthy, grassy, bread crust. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied.
