Sori brewery is located in an old Soviet military factory. Deep in the building lies locked rooms that remained untouched, one of which is scarier than others. In that room, we came up with the idea of this Imperial Baltic Porter with our friends from Voodoo Brewing (PA, USA). Brewed with loads of caramel and Estonian kama flour.

Bottled. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, some toffee, toasted tones, liquorice and mild alcohol. Flavour is kama (talkkuna), toffee, some alcohol, some liquorice and pleasant overall. Very smooth. Lovely.

0.33l bottle. Black body with a thin light brown head. Aroma of cocoa, caramel, rum, molasses, vanilla and some floral hops. Taste of cocoa, raisins, caramel, tangerine and floral hops. Sweet, but at the end of the sip there is a slight sourness to it besides the hops. Very nice.

Batch 270. Black, small brown head. Smells malty, bit roasty, some coffee, savoury. Bit thin, but fairly smooth. Taste is pretty strong, some bitterness, malty sweetness, with a savoury end note. Some caramel, bit of weird salty taffee. Ends very sweet.

33cl bottle shared with Erzengel. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet toffee malt, caramel, vanilla. Taste of sweet strong caramelized malt, rich toffee, vanilla, some bourbon, sticky.

Deep sticky nose. The brew starts very deep and sticky. Intense deep, creamy and rich. Caramel, cake, soft velvet caramel. Not too sweetish with hints of chocolate cake in the aftertaste. Fantastic smooth and mild milk chocolate. Great stuff!

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and caramel in the nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, notes of dried fruits and alcohol with rather sweet finish.

Smell of molasses, toffee. Dark brown colour, light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, syrup, molasses, caramel. Very sweet. Viscous texture. Medium carbon. Heavy body.
