Brown bottle, 650 ml, bottle 1234, bottled on 12/11/10, purchased at Goose Island Brewery, trip to Chicago with Louise, savoured on October 21 2011; eye: dark brown, hazy, no effervescence, pinkish head that disappears almost instantaneously; nose: Brettanomyces yeast, acidity, farm, horse, dark berries; mouth: Brettanomyces yeast, acidity less pronounced than the nose suggested, farm, horse, sour finale with fruit presence, medium-full body, good carbonation, mildly sour, slick texture; overall: quite fine FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 650 ml, 6,7 %, bouteille 1234, embouteillée le 12/11/10, achetée chez Goose Island Brewery, voyage à Chicago avec Louise, savourée le 21 octobre 2011 œil : brune foncée, voilée, pas d’effervescence, mousse rosée qui disparaît presque instantanément nez : levure Brettanomyces, acidité, ferme, cheval, baies noires bouche : levure Brettanomyces, acidité moins prononcé qu’au nez, ferme, cheval, finale aigre avec présence fruitée, corps moyen-corsé, bonne carbonatation, moyennement aigre, texture coulante; en résumé : bien bon

Bottle courtesy of GRM: Poured a cloudy reddish color ale with a nice foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of sour cherries and raspberries with sour notes, light oak and barnyard. Taste is a nice mix between some lacto, sour cherry and sour notes with light vinous feel and a strong barnyard finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Very well brewed with nice level of complexity while retaining good drinkability qualities.

A hazed cherry amber burgundy ale wit a thin quickly dissipating pinkish head. In aroma, a funked cherry and balckberry, Brett, corky notes, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet cherry malt, berries, light lactic notes, sour cherries, light and smooth. Tasted Oct. 21 2011 with GRM and Boutip. Merci Sylvain.

Bottle, 2010 - pre-AB. Beer poured a ruby red color with a almost no head, but a small white one that quickly dissipates. Aromas were fruity, tart blackberries. Flavor was pretty tasty, notes that were familiar to what you’d get in a wine, but not too wine-like. Very enjoyable

Boittled@SBWF2010. Ambery golden colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, some acidic wood, mild caramel maltyness as well as some spices. Flavour is acidic wood, some sour fruits, tart berries as well as some slight maltyness and spices as well. A rather wellbalanced and pleasant brew.
