Bomber courtesy of GT2. Pours tiny hazy orangish reddish golden with a fizzy offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving any trace worth mentioning. Smell is slightly sour and fruity with white bread, blackberries, blueberries, crackers, hay, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, unripe currants, dry soil and lemon zest. Taste is sour and fruity with lemon juice, red wine vinegar, blackberries, bilberries, hay, black currants, rhubarb, barnyard, lacto, lemon zest and red currants. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and medium bodied. Finish is sour and tart with lemon juice, blackberries, raspberries, rhubarb, hay, dry soil and hints barnyard. Very sour, tart and nice.

Poured from a 75 cl bottle shared at a private tasting. Pours a reddish amber with a collapsing white head and no lacing. Sour cherry aroma. Musty funkiness with a tart cherry and straw undercurrent.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits. Poured like a carbonated cherryade on speed. It was very lively initially but quite short lived. Cloudy red pour with a strong fruity aroma and a lovely sourness that many will love and some certainly wont. There’s a nice twist in the aftertaste and the sourness doesn’t stick around for too long. This is a style that I’m rapidly learning to appreciate and enjoy. This beer is worthy of its high rating.

Bomber from Liz. Pours lightly ruddy copper with a fizzy transient head. Aroma is dark berry with oak and sour aspects. Med + body. Flavor is very, very tart sour. Lots of dark berry and some brett and some oaky wood, and some vinosity. Wish I’d saved this one to share. Fkin nails the style. Tannins and red grapes abound. God bless InBev for not screwing this up. Barnyard rules.

Vintage 2010 bottle, shared by badnewsbeers. Murky deep red-brown body with dark sediment. Tart nose, lactic with vinaigrette, dark fruit/berries, fruitskin, and a touch of lemon; dusty. Great dusty, cobwebby body with firm sourness; lactic with vinaigrette and tart fruitskin; dry without unpleasant funk. Excellent.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber red with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a good amount of sour berries and red fruit with a bit of wood and a pretty strong acidic note. Flavor begins with sour and acidic berries with a decent amount of tannins and wood.

A - Poured with a slight head that faded very fast. The beer is incredibly bubbly. An SRM of 11, dark purple red appearance with a slight cloudiness.
S - I can smell the Blackberries from 2 feet away. It’s filling the room easily. Wow. Smells very close to the Boon Frambois. I’m getting a huge raspberry scent and a big oakiness with tannins.
T - Wow. Intensely tart right at the start. Raspberry and Blackberries dominate the glass. Perhaps I drink so much Frambois, that I’m confusing the tartness of the blackberries with raspberry. High acidic qualities. Pickle juice and nice citrus notes on the finish.
M - 40% carbonation. Light body. Tartness lingers forever and ever.
O - Exceptional. Worth the price and the wait. This is a fantastic beer...I’d like a little less pickle juice taste but overall, very nice.

Post Borefts I Invasion of Fonefan and Charlottes room tasting! Cloudy amber beer. Crisp dry palate. Sour and fruity and a little sharp. Finsihes very dry and with some minerals. Decent sour, a bit dry but not too puckery!
