Keg at Arendsnest, 11th February 14. This one stinks, overwelmingly vineous and tart. The taste is way too sour and astringent, over powering everything else in the stout. Toning down the Brett would have been better for my palate. Not nice, interesting how the bottle reviews seem to be higher. Not for me

Draught @ De Molen. Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized dark brown head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, brett, red wine. Taste malts, dark malts nicely mixed with red wine, brett and a touch of bourbon leading to a sourish bitter finish. Lightly oily texture, medium to full body, suitable carbonation.

Draft at De Molen. Pours near black with a thick beige head. Aroma shows the red wine barrels, along with bourbon, dark chocolate, roast and soy. Flavour is heavy sweet, bitter and moderate acidic. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Way too aggressive, unbalanced and extreme.

On tap @ De Molen. thin tan head. Clear black pour. Slight sour taste. Very well balanced. Easy (too easy) drinking for the high alcohol. Well done.

750 c&c from Corti Brothers. Pours dark brown/black with a few tan bubbles that didnβt last long. Aromas of alcohol, grape and brett. And arguably wood. Med body or so. Flavor is wine, brett, maybe oak, hints of bourbon. Itβs primarily woody/winey. With brett support. Mouth smacking with every sip/quaff. Quite "satisfying". Whatever that might connotate. Iβm really liking it.

Bottle shared at Churchkey. Black color, flat. Amazing aroma of sour prunes and plums. Taste is more sour dark fruit and dark fruity roasted coffee. Delicious.
