beleef 't Mirakel.

Bottle at De Dikke Koning, Amersfoort. Spicy Tripel with an aroma of ripe fruits, yeast, malt, sugar, spices, and soft floral hints. Sweet flavour, very spicy, light bitter. Body is medium. Decent Tripel, bit sweet and boozy in the finish.

I received a 33 cl bottle fortunately from Hoptimaal in early winter and now in midwinter I am ready to have a taste. I lift the lid and tilt the bottle into my ABGB tulip glass. I see a mostly clear gold body, active carbonation and a steady cover of completely white foam. The scent is a positive with ripe yellow fruit, grain, some yeastiness rising up and field. And I find the taste to be a good complement to the nose. Nectarines, dry crackers, apricots, a touch of spiciness and a decent bitterness at the finish. I appreciate the style and I call this a tasty tripel in the classic presentation.

Bottle from Mallorn in the RB Euro Swap 02/2020 - Cheers! 🍻 Foamy white head stayed on an unclear, finely carbonated, amber coloured body. Yeast, nectarine & spices fruit aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate with light clean finish. Sweet orange, yeast, bitter citrus, pithy & spiced fruit tastes with a long tangy finish Wow, that is very nice & far too easy to drink....

33cl Bottle from Hoop. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of coriander seed, lemon peel, floral, alcohol, light fruity, yeast, classic Tripel aroma. Flavour follows, light spicy, malty, slightly alcoholic, firm bitterness, again very classic. Creamy mouthfeel, medium to full bodied. Could happily drink a few of these. Good.
