Tap at the Vine Street Pub, Denver. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast and banana. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt yeast crisp liqourice hop palate. It smelled like a witbier but tasted like a lager.

Having this one side by side with the Ciel was quite the experience - while the Ciel had a lot going on with peppery and funky phenols, this beer was much cleaner and brighter - dry as all get out, with crisp, crackery maltiness - there are some phenols present, but there are subtle, adding some flinty/earthy/dusty notes and a hint of pepper - very mild estery character in the finish - so crisp - so dry - so delicious - this brewer keeps improving on Belgian styles - love this!
