Can 500ml (Santa Maria, Cabo Verde)
Golden colour, small steady white head. Sweetish pear, strawberry aroma. Light-bodied. Booze, sweetness, berries. Horrible malt liquer.

50 cl. can @ home, bought @ DirckIII, Nieuwegein. Clear golden with a white head. Grainy sweet alcohol aroma. Sweet taste with the usual alcohol burn. Harsh but I had worse in this style.

50cl Can from Dirck III. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sulphury hops, skunk/weed, sweet fruits, alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, alcohol, fusels, decent bitterness, more sweetness after swallowing. Light bodied. Not the worst in its class.

Well, at least it has decent head and a golden body. The aroma is earthiness and malt, surprisingly no tin or adjuncts to be sniffed. The flavour, however, is that usual cloying sweetness brought on by adding lots of crap to the wort in lieu of stuff like hops. I have this theory that InBev just has one giant strong lager vat and siphons it into different labelled cans for various markets - because that’s what it tastes like.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, golden with a dense and lively, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweetish aroma of brewing syrup and alcohol. Medium-bodied, flavours of sweet corn and an alcoholic and somewhat astringent finish. A classic park bench beer. 120208
