The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Split a 22oz bottle. Poured a nice, slightly hazy, orange color with a small white head. aroma was nice hop notes, some pine - grains - yeast notes. Flavor was sweet sugary malts, booze notes. Pretty tasty, enjoyable.

Draft at Stags Head, these big beers really got me a little tipsy but thats ok. pours orange golden with fluffy head. Nose if tropical fruits and spice. Tastes of bright apricots and peach, candied malt, vanilla, grass, floral, and nutmeg. pleasant medium bodied with bubblegum finish

On tap at Avery. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broke white head. The aroma is rich sweet caramel. The flavour is weak bitter with a watery sweet liqourice weak resin palate. Considering the ABV the alcohol was well controlled and didn’t dominate.

Draft 2002 vintage sampled at the brewpub. Pours cloudy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma is caramelly sweet aged beer upfront, with bready malt, toffee, cream. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub it is a golden clear color with a slight head; the. Aroma is of banana and bacon. It tastes of banana and lingers bitter on the palate.

22oz bottle shared by Brian. Unfitlered golden-orange body. Thin white head. Nice fresh yeasty, flowery esters. Very mellow and refined, no harsh alcohol tones. Light herbal tinged apricot, peach tones. Quite excellent, only lacks the champagne effervescence of a true Belgian. Great beer.

Draught at the brewery, on October 15, 2012Hazy yellow to golden color, white head. Sweet, alcohol, phenoles, malt, bitter taste. Metallic aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet, spicy, phenolic scent.
