A real thirst quencher, this crisp, clean and satisfying ale is perfect for the tropical weather in Singapore. The Brewmaster chose imported American hops for a snappy citrusy flavor that is cool, and refreshing. A beer with smooth round body that is enjpyable anytime.

Bottled. A hazy light amber beer with a thin disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of hay and metal, leading to a dry bitter finish. Boring. Thanks fiulijn for bringing this back.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, deep golden with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of fruit and sweet malts. Medium body, a little caramel and fruit and an odd synthetic tang. Lightly bitter finish. But drinkable indeed. 040408

33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a lacing white head. Dried fruity aroma. Slight oldish to oxidised dry malty and spiced flavour. Shows a light dry hops note into the finish. Persisting fruity towards woody note along this.

My least favorite of this interesting little brewery. It has the same cane and brown sugar with molasses character that the beers have, but with the fragerant hops it just clashes too much. Moderately bitter finish.

Draught at the pub in Circular Road, 2007-10-17, 6-3-6-3-12=30
A second try tells me that this Ale, though a surprise in Singapore and Asia, is simpler than 9 months ago, mostly if compared today side to side with the good Saison Sayang. It maintains the medium body and the malt/caramel flavor, the cereals touch is more accentuated, and the bitterness is quite strong but not so powerful.

Golden color. Some malt aroma. Good body structure and good malt taste with a quite powerful hopping. Well balanced.
