Bottle. Color: Murky brown, very thin beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel, smoke. Taste: Malty, sweetish, caramel, subtle smoke notes, juniper tree / pine hints. Moderate to over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. In between German and Scandinavian style. Nice one.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have hints of smoke and leather. Nicely smokey. Forest fire. Lots of malt in the finish

Bottle @ home. Deep dark red-brown color. Creamy light beige head with some retention. Aroma's: smoky, ashy, herbs (actually juniper). Retronasal it's sweet, smoky, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with herbs. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Herbal bitter finish.
