We use Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops (you know, the best ones) to triple dry hop this brew for a full on tropical fruit flavor touchdown complemented by bold aromas of pineapple, mango, and grapefruit. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was bitter and sweet with tropical fruit, cracker and pepper. The flavor was bitter, tangy and sweet with papaya, passion fruit and mango notes. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

12 ounce bottle, 8/28/16. Clear amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of piney, catty, earthy hops with a bit of citrus and pale malt. The taste is earthy, piney hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness.

The thing here is the freshness of the hops. Super fresh. And perfectly matched with the other ingredients. I like that the flavors go well with the slight chewiness oh the texture. Excellent finish. Killer beer.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/17/2016 1:43 AM(19 hours ago). Pours crystal clear golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic balance and complexity of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors lingering after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, moderately sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.6%. Overall this is an incredible IPA! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the increasingly bitter/drying finish. A highly enjoyable offering.

On tap at HopCat Detroit, 12oz tulip hazy gold with some lacing white head. Nose is sharp with grass and lemon and tangerine, zippy hop, a little spruce. Flavor has more spruce and pine than the nose, bitter and fresh hop oil, orange. Zippy finish, dry. Hides the ABV well.
