At CBB’s IPA event. It was a nice hazy honey color with a thick creamy head. Amazingly the foam lasted till the beer was gone! The flavor started off sweet & citrusy which was then followed by an astringent bitterness. I like it more than Mikkeller’s Citra Single Hop as it has more body. Very nice.

33cl bottle (bottled on Nov. 27th, 2012) picked up at the De Molen bottle shop pours with a clear light copper body and gold hues supporting a tall light tan head of foam that leaves behind sheet lacing. The aroma offers up orange peel, tart grapefruit and lime peel. The taste is similarly citrusy tartness with various tart peel notes mixed with slightly malt sweetened grapefruit and clementine. This is fully tart and bitter citrus with wafer thin layers of malty sweetness that surface about midway and into the finish to provide some balance. Nice IPA.

2 finger creamy thick head, slightly cloudy burnt orange Smell is pretty earthy. It’s either lightly hopped or old. No cheese though Taste is sort of a muted bitterness. Se grapefruit and passion fruit but its dominated by malts. Bitterness is more of an annoyance than a pleasure

Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten. Clear orange colour, medium dense off-white head. Nose is citric, light malty and grainy. Flavour is light malted, citric, bit of pine. Slightly bitter finish. A bit watery.

I have had this brew several times and it just simply rocks. Citra has become one of my favorite hops. Slightly hazy golden pour, medium white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and citrussy Citra hop. Nice fruity bitterness in taste. Quite clean, not affected by a lot of caramel malts, which I like in American IPAs, but which I dont miss at all in this beer. Crisp. I would buy a crate of this stuff every time they brew it.

Flaske på hytta, innkjøpt på Kioskh: Højt skum!! Herlig duft av citrahumlen, hva kan vel være mer saliggjørende for de olfaktoriske nerver? Deilig, om enn litt beskjeden smak i forhold til f.eks Lucky Jack.. De 57 ibu lurer diskret i bakgrunnen. Et koseøl både for solskinnsdager og vinterlige innedager.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, moderate grass - dry grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus - grapefruit, dusty hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO. a nice balanced IPA and easy to drink. [20130116]
