Ba Yamabushi Raspberry Brown 7% Brown with some Ruby highlights and thick brown quick vanishing head. The aroma is a touch funky and off-putting while the taste is a lightly tart slightly sweet Oud bruin type flavor. I’m really loving the lovely soft body with a scratchy mildly mouth puckering finish.

Bottle. Funky, dusty nose, caramel, raspberry, light chocolate. Touch of vinegar in the flavor, raspberry, chocolate, caramel. Soft, lingering sweetness. Low carbonation. Nice.

An odd papery note on the nose. Oxidised? Bad raspberries? Doesn’t come through in the mouth

slightly hazy brown color. Very tart dry nose with overwhelming oak, iodine. Everything is just overwhelming and not balanced. Super dry, very tart, very carbonated, pronounced raspberries and tons of oak. Slightly warming finish. The sourness is not balanced out at all and the malt isn’t sweet and the raspberry character doesn’t come out on the palate but nicely lingers at the end This could massively improve with age but as is it is a bit of a mess.
