Die sorgfältige Auswahl feinster Weizen- und Gerstenmalze verleiht Maisel’s Weisse ihre rötlich leuchtende Bernsteinfarbe und das über Generationen von Braumeistern überlieferte Brauverfahren der Bayerischen Edelreifung mit Hefe aus eigener Reinzucht gibt ihr den einzigartigen Charakter. Der frische Geruch nach feiner Hefe und angenehmen Fruchtnoten verbindet sich beim Antrunk mit der milden Würze aus Malz-, Frucht- und Nelkenaroma und einer Nuance Muskatnuss. Im Nachgang entfaltet sich dann das für Maisel’s Weisse typische, leicht fruchtige, würzige Weissbieraroma.

Cloudy orange. Tall creamy (later rocky) head. Good retention. Nose of wheat, yeast, fruit, spice. Light to medium body. Sweet flavour of banana in nice combination with those spice (clove, coriander). The composition is classic. Low bitterness. A Weizen of its own.

Bottle 0.5l from local Alko, Vantaa. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, banana, wheat and malts. Very typical German hefeweizen again.

A darker than hefes usually, slightly brown, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has strong wheat, sourness of wheat, hint of bananas, some toffee and spicyness. Taste has wheat, also some toffee, low fruitness, also spicyness. Medium bodied, strong carbonation, smooth. Hefe with darker and toffeeish notes, fresh anyway. Good beer.

0,5 l bottle at a restaurant. Hazy, brownish orange with a huge, fluffy, stable, white head. Aroma of banana and clove, mabe a bit of cinnamon as well. Sweetish and spicy taste of banana and clove, supplemented by some cinnamon. Short, slightly bitter and sourish finish. Medium body, fizzy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Decent Weizen with lots of banana. Good!

Tap (Academus, Wroclaw). Barwa zlota, piwo metne, piana biala niezbyt obfita. Jak pszeniczne piwo i w aromacie i smaku choc w smaku ciut za kwaskowe. Delikatnie wytrawne, lekkie, pijalne. Ot jak pszeniczne nic nie urywa.

500 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a nice, big, stable, creamy off-white head. Strong aroma of wheat, citric fruit, yeast, banana and cloves. Flavor is very tasty and refreshing, with everything from the aroma, the sweetness feels balanced. Body is just the way it should be and long lasting aftertaste, Might be my favorite German Hefeweizen, everything seems to be in perfect balance with this one.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours murky amber, thick white head. Aromas of banana and clove, light vanilla. taste is more of the same. Creamy texture, sweet finish. Decent.
