On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - dark prune brown. Not much head. Nose - toffee and a light sour cherry tang. Taste - toffee and chocolate. Sour cherries take it through to the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with tangy lean middle section and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - lovely.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy brown with a thin ring of off-white head. Aromas of sour cherry, something woody. Red wine/fruit. Like cooked strawberry maybe. Taste is sharp sour, more fruit and vinous notes. Some of the darker malts make an appearance as you get down the glass. Cherry chocolate. Light sour, zingy finish.
