On tap at the brewpub. It pours an almost lcear body, dark amber in color, with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has smoke that feels almost peaty, with dried fruits, roasted malts and caramel. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, smooth, with a light bitterness mathcing the light malty sweetness well. Caramel, dark dried fruits, some roasted malts and a faint hint of black tea. Quite a lot of lightly meaty smoke too. A bit weird this one, but sure drinkable. Don't think I could drink several glasses though. 190607

200ml draught at Brygg Oslo. Hazy red-brownish body, filmy layer that laced quite well. Quite inviting smell of mid-sweet malts, tea-like hops, and a distant touch of farmyard. Fine blended, quite exciting flavours of tea, raisin, figs, and discreet yeasty fruitiness. Dried fruity ending. Well bodied. Something else, well-made. (Oslo 29.08.2020).

07.06.2019, tap @ Brygg:
Small fizzy-creamy shortlasting head, slightly hazy reddish amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, old lawn, fruit stones, sour grass, smoked weeds, bloodlike minerals, sap, soil, flowers, tea powder, alcohol, bark, caramel malts. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish grassy, smoked weeds, sour grass, fruit stones, soil, yeast, bloodlike minerals, booze, bark, old leafs, sap, caramel malts, tea powder. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Tap @ Brygg Oslo. Pours dark red or reddish amber, some decent foam there, lightly beige in color. Smoked nose, quite smoky actually, light fruitiness hidden under that. Tastes sweetish, smoke is still strong but also you are getting some sour plums, touch of acidity. Interesting enough for me to like it, more like a peculiarity though, not something I could session.
