Brigand is a strong blonde beer that is re-fermented in the bottle. The pale blonde colour is eye-catching thanks to the use of unmalted wheat, pale malt and pils malt. Brigand has a slightly malty taste with accents of spices and hops in the finish.

Bottle, 33cl. Golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet with fruity notes and bitter finish. Not very well balanced. Ok beer.

Dark golden. Foamy white head. Aroma of maize, sugar, some bitterness and boiled vegetables. Unfresh taste, with sugar and some bitterness. Equally unfresh aftertaste.

Helder levendrig bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en kruidig, citrus, koriander. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

Bottle on the train to Poperinge. Almost clear golden liquid with huge white head. Aroma of grain, corn, sugar, banana, clove and light booze. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of grain, sugar and banana. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Pretty bad...

Pours clear golden with a big, lasting, white head. The aroma contains malt, hops, yeast, spices and some fruits. It tastes light malty sweet and medium spicy bitter. The finish is alcoholic, spicy, and a bit metallic. Medium body, oily texture, livey carbonation. Too prominently spicy with too much carbonation. A beer aspiring to be amongst the better Belgian Strong Ales, but failing. (Edited 25/7/17)

Hazy gold - amber beer with a small white head. Palate is light and crisp and semi dry. Little minerals. Smooth malt, dry. Spice. Whisper of citrus and esters and tinned fruits. Semi dry finish. Okay.
