Tap @ Yona Yona Beer Works, Ebisu. Pours dark amber, quite clear and not much foam there. Nose has some smoke, little bit of leather, creamy caramel with a hint of bitterness. Tastes quite dry, light booze from the barrel but quite modest, light smoke and bit of sweetness. Relatively dry and bitter for the style. Does not feel heavy though, quite well balanced. Leaves a tingling bitter sensation. Leaning on the dry and bitter side, light whisky character, aftertaste also resembling more whisky than beer. Thinner body than I thought it would be and more bitterness at the end. Dry and decent.
