Can from Beer Cats fukubukuro. Pours slightly cloudy, deeper orange with some relatively off-white thick foam, half rocky, half thin-bubbled. Nose is tropical, some citrus, resins and papaya, green apple. Tastes medium bodied, good fruity bitterness, feels light and relatively dry. Easy to drink, clean and simple IPA but satisfies your hop tooth.

On tap @ the Rip Current North Park brewery location. Poured up with a clear gold body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up an inviting pulse of spicy danky onion hops and grapefruit. The taste delivers a crushing thirst quenching deep hoppy bite. This is hitting the spot. I get a malt thickened grapefruit and spicy dank onion heading into some citrus hop flavor juiciness. Wow. I can drink this all day.

Pour is a almost clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is a nice fruit/piney hop mix. No single fruit stands out but it is overall pretty citrusy. Flavor is again a fruity hop with honey malt and a very minor bitterness. A pretty straight forward and tasty IPA with some new school hops.

Sampled from the tap at the North Park location. Pours a crisp gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of flora and citrus with a light sweet grain note underlying. Flavor a has a lot of bitter citrus and sweet grains with a touch of grass backing.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical, grape, citrus, floral. Med body. Flavor more or less matches aroma. Plus a caramel backbone that’s not assertive. Flavors aren’t uber strong, but they are firm and tasty. Towards dry and quite hoppy and non-harshly bitter. Could be an every day go-to ale.
