Our robust Porter shows bittersweet flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. It has very complex malt character enhanced by yeast fruitiness.

Tap at Smith Street Taps, Singapore. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy lasting light tan head. The aroma is roasty caramel malt, smoky, liqouirce, charcoal, dry hop. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth rich, roasty, dry, liqouirce, light dry floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

12 oz. purchased at El Barrio Tequila bar, Holland, PA. Pitch black color. Nose of chocolate, raisins, roast. Flavor is fairly rich with semi-sweet chocolate, light coffee, and coffee bitterness that lingers pleasantly. Shows me a slightly creamy mouth feel, and bolder body for a porter. Bitterness comes forward as it warms. Overall, real solid.

Tap at the brewery - just a downright great rendition of a classic, and now overlooked style - complex chocolate, cherry, and espresso, with a moderate bitterness and roast to keep it from getting too sweet - if this were Ratebeer circa 2003, this beer would be in high demand.

Sample at SBWF 2016. Almost black with a tan head. Fairly mild with roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. The body was medium and the finish rather bitter. An ok one.
