Poured at Wakefest, dark brown with medium frothy tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, cocoa, oak. Medium body, cocoa, cracker, nice roast finish, very nice.

Tap @ CBM Kanda. Dark brown pour with a tiny amount of beige foam on top. Nose is sour, light chocolate, dusty cocoa and blackberry juice. Juicy and beautiful for a dark sour. Tastes sour but not too acidic, light milk chocolate cocoa in the finish. Taste falls off a bit compared with a decent nose. Good but not too complex - but with this kind of beers thats complexity what you are looking for.

Medium brown color. Very sour, vinous nose with oak, and faint hint of chocolate and caramel. Medium low carbonation, fairly sour with good oak, roasted malt, dark fruit and some chocolate character, though I wouldn’t say super complex. Dry. Nice mouth feel, well made but not super complex

375 c&c from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours transparent dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sort of berry/stone fruit with some woody aspects. Med body or so. Flavor is woody/fruity/earthy/chocolate. Pretty tasty barrel ale. Quite earthy.
