Draft. A nice dry smelling stout with some roastiness. Low abv makes it great session beer.

Draft at Tap99. Pours almost black with a creamy beige head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate notes, very mild.

Tap at victory taproom Philadelphia. A reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a a sticky beige head. Aroma is earthy roast, dry roasted barley, earth, oyster. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, filmsy, earthy waxy, dirty earth. Palate is semi sweet, thin, grass, not much life. Ok.

Taster at brewery. Near black pour, persistent tight beige head. Light roasty malts in the aroma. Taste is roasty with a fair amount of sweetness . Feels thin but at 3.7%, that's probably appropriate.

On tap at Victory in Downingtown. It pours a dark mahogany color with a khaki head. The aroma is balanced smoke and roasted malt. The flavor is the same with a little hint of anise, roast and smoke. Low carbonation. Pretty watery on the palate, but understandable for the low ABV. Ok.

On tapat the Blind Tiger, Greenwich Village on 8th July 2026. Almost black with pale tan lacing foam. Roast malts with sweet caramel aroma. Roasty malts and lactic creaminess in-mouth. A cafė crême finish with a caramel foundation. Medium bodied, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
