Bottle. Nose is apple, caramel, molasses, cherry, raisins, huge nose. Dark brown, almost black, with lace. Fruitier than expected, caramel, fudge, light smoke, rum raisin, caramel / candy apple. Low carbonation. Not quite flat. silky. Woody, tannic oak finish. rich and lovely.

Lots of calvados in the nose, I am not really getting much of the original Adamu here, really dominated by the apple alcohol aromas. Same actually goes to the flavour department, tastes smooth, filled with calvados abv and is throughly enjoyable.

Super smooth malty beer. Lots of brandy Cherries and dark fruit. Very rounded and alcohol well hidden. Smooth lots of brandy and Cherry smoothness

Sample at Hair Of The Dog during the Brouwerij de Molen and Shiga Kogen Tap Takeover on 07/30/2016. Dark mahogany-brown color with a thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. The aroma is oaky and smoky with fruit and malt notes. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, earthy hops, dried fruits and caramel. The finish is earthy with a smoky malt and fruit aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at HOTD. Pours a ruddy brown color with a small white head. A big fruity nose, sweet brandy, some smoke and caramel. Toffee, vanilla, big sweet brandy, smoky, a bit thin. This is really good. Super smooth. Quite different than Adam or the regular Adamu.
