Pours dark brown, quite dark so almost cannot see anything through this beer. Wow, does not look like an IPA at all. Aroma... malty, caramel and fig fruit, bit of booze. No hops whatsoever. Taste feels similarly malty, has some smoky characteristics plus leather, just a bit of bitterness at the end. Not really badly done but I am not enjoying this at all. Bit too heavy for me. And yes, this is not an IPA.
