Pours golden amber, has a bit of foam. Aroma has clean resins, a bit of tropical fruits. Taste has resins with ripen fruits, piney too. Nice clean, can imagine myself having this on the beach. Dry mouthfeel, long and dry aftertaste.

[2/22/15] Draught at Pizza Port in Carlsbad. Clear deep golden. Fruity and “green” hops aroma. Sweetish malty flavor with honey, “green” hops, strong bitterness and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied.

Sample at the DIPA-festival in Hayward. Orange with a white head. A lot of hops, tropical fruit, resin and light caramel. Fresh and nicely drinkable.

Light amber color. Piney, citrusy and lemon nose with a decent whiff of crystal malt in the nose. Well balanced body, full body, tons of crystal malt, earthy piney and dry. Hop character is fairly subdued at first but then shine through. Decent bitter finish. Understated but pleasent IIPA.

Pours up at AZ Strong Ale Fest 2014 with a nice clear deep gold body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up pulses of citrus like grapefruit and tangelo before getting into some resiny pine hop notes and an onion spicy dankness at the edges of the experience. The taste is rich yet accessible and seemingly sessionable starting with a mix of grapefruit, tangelo and resiny pine hops. That yummy goodness slides effortlessly to midway and then into the finish as you’re granted a long involved even hoppy experience from front to back. The malts are clean and supportive yet are also well out of the way making this dangerously sessionable. Solid brew. I can drink a shit ton of this stuff.
