Bottle from Brewers Haven. Black oily pour, tiny ring of tight beige foam around the glass. Big chocolaty aroma with hints of candied fruit, vanilla, nutmeg, very fruitcake-y (but better). Taste brings more chocolate, dark bitter chocolate, and mulling spices. Late warmth forms deep down in the chest cavity. Christmas meal accompaniament? You bet!
