Tasted on tap at the proeflokaal on 16/06/2014. Amber colour with medium head. Aroma of caramel, malts and hops. Hoppy flavour with a dry finish. Aftertaste has some caramel and malts. Medium body and light carbonation. Next one please!

330ml bottle from the brewery, drunk at home in the garden in Ford, Shropshire. Pours reddish brown with a floral nose, a creamy yeasty character with pithy hops, sweet malts and some great stone fruit. Awesome with spicy piri piri chicken!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ the Marqt supermarket, Den Haag. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Malty yeasty aroma and taste. A bit too much yeast in my opinion. furthermore it’s rather sweet and one dimensional. One of the lesser ’t Ij beers.

Bottle at Carlsens Kvarter. Cloudy pale amber with a big and lasting, fluffy white head. Bready malt aroma, some fruity/spicy Belgian character and a faint dusty yeast note. Sweet yeasty and malty flavour with spicy notes, and a rather bitter finish

Piwo swietne i prawie dorownuje super dobrym belgijskim mocnym ale. Zaczne od zapachu, ktory jest bardzo kwiatowy zapach fiolkow i zwlaszcza bzu wyczuwalem. W smaku pieczona na parze pszenna bulka. Nieco miodu i owocu granatu. W koncowce lekko alkoholowe ale niezbyt to przeszkadza. Piwo tresciwe i z solidna slodowoscia. Piana trwala i spora, taka czapowata jak ja to okreslam. Do tego ekologiczne surowce i spora metnosc. Polecam

amber kleurig bier met minimale witte kraag waarbij de inhoud enorm troebel is. Het aroma komt voor mij vreemd over, rare kruiden bovenop de gist en caramel. Have been drinking this since the 80’s, but not recently... From 33 cl bottle. Red color, slightly hazy. Off white head. Aroma’s: sweet, herbal/spices, yeast, some fruit. Retronasal: caramel, sweet, bitter, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet & moderate bitter. Rather strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Long finish, moderate bitter. Nice!
