Brewed with Japanese wild-bred mandarin orange - ‘Fukure Mikan’ - and aroma hops with hints of orange. A great amount of malty umami taste complements well with the fruity citrus flavours.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is orange citrus, light hop. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with an orange fruit, light toothpaste hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Quite an unusual beer. An orange IPA. Who would have thought it!

Bottle at Chriso. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is malty, earthy, sort of oxidised and orange peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, orange sponge cake, decent malt backbone and decent enough bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. This particular example seems a bit old, but not bad anyhow.

330 mL bottle. Pours a golden amber with many particles of varying sizes, a white head. Overripe orange aroma. Flavor is again of orange, some grapefruit, stale pale malt. Not sure how old it is, but it seems the orange peel is rather overpowering any hops that may be in there.

Pours amber with a quickly fading head.Nose shows sweet malt, orange peel, soft spices, woody notes and incense. Different.Interesting flavours too. Alcohol, sweet malt and a woody incence note again. Finishes with an assertive bitterness but little of the way in hop flavours.Needs more carbonation, feels watery.

Bottle. Clear gold with a small white head that fades fast. Aroma of orange marmalade, honeydew melon, grapes, somewhat medicinal herbs. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Bittersweet oranges, caramel, melon, earthy and herbal notes come through at the end. Eventually a little bitterness registers. Pleasant, mellow.

330 ml bottle into pint glass, bottled in 9/2013. Pours moderately cloudy golden orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of orange peel, lemon zest, tangerine, pear, apple, bread, cracker, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt, hop, orange peel, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of orange peel, lemon zest, tangerine, pear, apple, biscuit, cracker, light honey, herbal, floral, slight pine, and yeast earthiness. Slight floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of orange peel, lemon zest, tangerine, pear, apple, biscuit, cracker, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice and pleasantly balanced malt, hop, orange peel, and yeast ester flavors; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice English IPA. Good balance of malt, hop, orange peel, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
