A selected blend of choice coffees gives complexity and depth to the dark beer with a compact creamy head. Coffee notes in the bouquet, which is particularly broad and fascinating. Hints of chocolate in the mouth, together with nuts and liquorice for an unforgettable experience.

Nice 355 ml bottle from Seiyu. Pours nice brown, a bit hazy and a thin beige top. Aroma has coffee, sweetness, dried black plums and some alcohol. It becomes more intense as the beer warms. Taste is quit bitter at first, but sweet ate the same tie. There is coffee bean bitterness and strong coffee notes, also some caramelized sugar together with sweet wigs. Aftertaste lasts really long, not so much bitter than coffee-like. Very nice dessert beer, need to get these other AMA bottles from Seiyu as well.

Bottle at Caffee Berry, Sliema. It pours dark brown, nr black with a small tan head. The nose is rich, roasted malt, big coffee character, earth and coffee cake. The taste is rich roast, espresso coffee, toasty, treacle sweetness, brown sugar and light bitterness with a dry roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rich and flavoursome, yet very drinkable and balanced. Nice!

Bottle, from shop in Cavalese, Italy. Deep dark pour with a small tan head. Nose was roast, coffee, malts and burnt toast. The flavour went down a similar slope with more roast and notes of dark chocolate and dark fruit. Dried out with some bitternes towards the finish. Tasty stuff. Thatโ€™s er ama...mora.

17/04 A 0.75 l bottle, courtesy of ogivlado, great thanks for another shared craft ale! It poured almost black body with thin brown head. Dog food, copper patina and coffee in disappointing aroma. Flavor was luckily much better. Coffee bitterness and acidity was well balanced with some sweeter dried fruits and wood. Medium bodied with moderate, slightly sweet espresso finish. And sure, woody nuts again. A bit too simple but good after all. For an imperial porter could be better though.

Bottled 750ml. -from La Rinascente, Milano. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, coffee in the nose. Heavy roasted malt, coffee and chocolate with touch of chilli in the finish. A bit one-dimensional but pretty good and tasty beer.
