355ml bottle @ Corey & Angela’s place. Hazy murky pale white color, medium sized a bit soapy white head. Smell syrup, lemon, straw. Taste is the same: pretty much just lemon & citrus flavors mixed with hay, straw and some wheat. Medium carbo, low to medium body.

Sprite and lemonade aroma. Milky yellow medium head. Wow, not at all sweet. Artificial lemon juice flavor, the kind that comes in the little green plastic bottles. Finishes with lemon pulp and a hint of light malt. Really wanting in sweetness, off balance, unbeery. Um, no.

OK. I’m not going to try to convince anyone that this is a great beer . . . or even a very good beer. In fact, I don’t think of it as beer with lemonade. It is lemonade with a beer flavor. I like it for what it is. It fits a very narrow niche: when you want a thirst quencher, but you don’t want a beer. Try a Leinie Summer Shandy! They must be selling them; I see everyone is copying the concept.

Pours out of the bottle a murky cloudy light yellow color with a smallish white head that dissipates quickly. It looks a lot like the liquid that comes out of one of those plastic lemons only this has a small head on it for a minute or two. The smell is pretty heavy on the lemon. There’s a faint spicy wheat beer aroma deep underneath, but I mostly get lemons. The flavor is and odd mix of beer and lemon juice. It tastes like carbonated lemonade with a hint of macro wheat beer mixed in there. Medium to thin body with a spirited level of carbonation and a sweet and tart kind of mouthfeel happening. This one didn’t really do it for me. The lemony aspect of this I kind of enjoyed, but I think that the base beer that they used is just south of lackluster.

Bottle. Fresh lemon and wheat aroma. Cloudy yellow with a small fizzy white head. Lemon, wheat malt flavor. Light carbonated palate. I’d drink it on the mower, but probably nowhere else.

Reviewed from notes. 12oz can from Old Chicago poured into a shaker. Poured a cloudy bright yellow, like lemonade. Smelled like sweet sour lemons, like how lemonhead candy tastes. Taste is medium sweet, like flat lemonade. Has a light body, thin texture and flat carbonation. Again, like lemonade. Overall, it’s pretty bad. If you want lemonade, drink lemonade, not beer. This is not something I plan to buy again.

umm....im a little embarassed rating this one, but a buddy had a few on ice after a round of golf, and against my better judgement i had a couple to be friendly. not my thing, even after a round of golf in 90 degree weather, this was way too sweet for me. better to take a lighter pale lager and throw a lime or lemon into it.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazed pale golden with a white head. Lemonade aroma. Flavor is dominated by lemonade, but also has a weird, off-putting bitterness when cold. The bitterness goes away after a while, leaving just the sugary lemonade without much in the way of beer flavors. Not very good.
