Pumpkin Patch Ale is made with whole pumpkins that we chop up and roast by hand. The hand roast allows us to caramelize the natural sugars exactly as we like, which when combined with a delicate balance of spices creates the signature flavor of our classic fall-themed brew. We know you’ll appreciate the effort when you taste the difference roasting real pumpkins makes.

On tap at fresh hop fest. Pours out a amber topped with a sand head. Nose is pumpkin spice rich malts and some sweetness. Taste is more of the nice pumpkin spice notes along with a mello end.

Bottle sample at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, cardmaom and some pumpkin. Sweet flavor with caramel and winter spices. Medium-bodied.

Pours autumnal gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Cinnamon and nutmeg aromas. Dry with sweet brown sugar and cinnamon front to back.

Cinnamon nose. Clear orange, thin head. Malt forward, pumpkin with just subtle cinnamon notes. Light body. Tastefully done.

This was poured into a snifter and a pint glass.
The appearance was pretty much the same in both - semi-dark brown to red color body with a quickly dissipating foamy bubbly white head. Barely any lacing clung at all.
The smell was sweet bready malty over top of a light seasonal pumpkin spice and ginger to cinnamon spice.
The taste was mainly the same with a light bready to ginger spice aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable quality about it. The carbonation was there and actually seemed a bit higher than most pumpkin ales I’ve had.
Overall, it’s a decent pumpkin ale but for the price I’d rather go after other pumpkin ales before this.

Sampled from a 22 oz bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small foamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and spicy cinnamon, nutmeg and yeast. The aroma was tangy and sweet honey, caramel and nutmeg. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Pours hazy copper with a large creamy head.Nose shows cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves along with a soft but unmistakable pumpkin hit amongst sweet malty gingerbread notes.More spices as flavours along with very subtle pumpkin, gingerbread and some herbal astringency. Wouldn’t mind a longer-lasting sweet malty finish. Nonetheless, very enjoyable stuff.Nice creamy mouthfeel. Could be just a little thicker though.

Bottle. Pours a clear earthy orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of fall spices, a bit of pumpkin and a sweet bread backbone. Flavor has a pumpkin pie like note throughout with a bit of earthiness underlying.

Finally enjoying Rogue’s Pumpkin Patch Ale on tap @ Tadg’s. 5.6% A beautiful clear amber with a pumpkin pie spice aroma. Served in a lager glass. Nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, quite tasty & not overdone. The glass may be toning it down. One of the best pumpkin beers this year, neck & neck with the Uinta pumpkin which may have a bit more pumpkin flavor...
